DJ Chance named Pioneer Solutions' Global Director of Liquid Hydrocarbons
DJ Chance has recently been named Pioneer Solutions’ Global Director of Liquid Hydrocarbons. After playing a critical role in the maturation of SolArc over the course of 15 years, DJ saw a similar opportunity at Pioneer Solutions, an established and successful provider in the gas and power markets, to help broaden its footprint in the global oil markets. “I was attracted to Pioneer because it is a young, vibrant company that I wanted to be a part of,” Chance explained.

In addition to his experience at SolArc, Chance also worked at OpenLink Financial for two and a half years, equipping him with over 17 years of experience. Before working for OpenLink and SolArc, he worked for a major oil company in the area of U.S. natural gas liquids trading & distribution. He has also been exposed to many other energy commodities, including refined products, crude oil and coal. He also has a deep knowledge of various commercial activities, such as supply trading, product marketing, hedging, fractionation, blending, storage and shipping in regions of the U.S., Middle East, Europe and Asia. Furthermore, he has experience in project implementation and client management.

“My vision is to help build out the finishing touches, the nuances, that make TRMTracker a slam dunk for the petroleum markets, so those market participants can take advantage of this system and add value and efficiencies to their businesses,” Chance responded when asked about his vision for Pioneer.

“We are very excited about the addition of DJ Chance to the Pioneer Solutions team. He brings a tremendous amount of industry, functional and technical knowledge for us to further develop our petroleum sector,” said Uday Baral, President of Pioneer Solutions.
